What causes tooth discoloration?
Your nutrition has a not negligible influence on the color of your teeth. The color pigments contained in red wine and coffee, for example, can discolor tooth enamel very easily. The same applies to the pigments contained in tobacco. So you can change many aspects of your nutrition to prevent the discoloration of your teeth. A moderate consumption of the particular foods is recommended. Furthermore, your tooth color is genetically predetermined and your teeth may appear slightly yellow even with good oral hygiene and little superficial discoloration.

Modern and painless bleaching with Fläsh from Whitesmile®.
The dental clinic Rostock Zahnärzte Frankfurt works with the most modern methods of dental medicine. For example, we use the Fläsh In-Office Whitening System from Whitesmile® in our clinic. This is high technology made in Germany. No matter whether you want to whiten one tooth or a complete row: We will help you get back bright white teeth and a perfectly smile.
During the treatment, a special gel made of hydrogen peroxide is applied to the desired tooth or teeth row. The gel is then exposed to a high-tech light, which triggers the bleaching process. Pain can be avoided with this method. Depending on the degree of discoloration of your teeth, the bleaching sequence may take two or more rounds of 11 minutes each. The whole treatment lasts about 1.5 hours. We will explain the complete process to you before the start of the treatment. It is highly recommended that you have your teeth professionally cleaned before the procedure to ensure that the bleaching process works as effectively as possible. To ensure your beautiful result for a long time, we recommend regular professional dental cleanings at Rostock Zahnärzte Frankfurt every six months.
